Dental Coverage

At CDPPM, we accept a variety of dental coverage plans to make care more accessible.

Private Insurance

We can electronically submit treatment plans and claim forms for your convenience. Reimbursements are sent directly to the policyholder, not to the clinic.

Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

The Canadian Dental Care Plan helps make dental care more affordable for eligible Canadian residents. To qualify, all criteria must be met, and eligibility is reassessed annually:

  • No access to private dental insurance;
  • Adjusted net family income below $90,000;
  • Canadian residency for tax purposes;
  • Filed a tax return in the previous year.

Please bring your card and the document showing your eligibility date and coverage percentage to your appointment. Note that the CDCP uses a fee schedule that differs from the Association des chirurgiens dentists du Québec (ACDQ), which may result in out-of-pocket costs even if your coverage is listed as 100%.

Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ)

Children under 10 years old and recipients of certain financial aid programs may receive many dental services free of charge.

Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP / PFSI)

The IFHP commonly referred to as “ the brown paper” provides limited and temporary health coverage to certain people in Canada who do not have provincial, territorial, or private health insurance.
